Watch Your Flush

On our recent Holland America cruise, I spied this sign in one of the bathrooms. Not throwing trash into the toilet is obvious. But less obvious is not flushing while seated. Since the toilet uses vacuum technology, well…I’m sure you can take a guess what Holland America is worried about.

Gift Shop and Jewish Cultural Center

In downtown Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, I found this building. It houses the Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg Chabad Jewish Welcome Center and the Purple Papaya gift shop. You can get your tacky t-shirt and your salvation – but it’s absolutely cheesy.
