In Akureyri, Iceland, we saw this sign right near where the cruise ships dock. This is absolute highway robbery. They charge $310 for a one day taxi trip to Myvatn. That was half what our rental car cost for 8 days in Iceland. Don’t get me wrong, Myvatn is totally worth it, but there’s got to be a cheaper way for cruise ship passengers to get there.
